General Ronan HAICAULT de la REGONTAIS joined the Military School of Saint-Cyr in 1991 and graduated from the Higher Military Education, from the 16^th Promotion of the Joint Defense College (CID). He also holds a degree from ESSEC Business School. General HAICAULT de La REGONTAIS spent most of his career working in military operational intelligence and in finance-related positions. After commanding the 2^nd Hussard Regiment from 2013 to 2015, he was assigned to the Directorate of Military Intelligence, thus coordinating multi-sensor research operations in support of military operations and strategic surveillance. From 2018 to 2019, he was an auditor at the 68^th Session of the Centre des Hautes Études Militaires and the 71^st of the Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale. He then took on the responsibilities of Head of the Finance, Budget and Programming for three years. Promoted to General de Brigade (OF-6), he served as Deputy Director of Capabilities at the Directorate of Military Intelligence from July 2022 to 2024, overseeing human resources, training, finance, and intelligence-related programs. On September 1^st, 2024, General Ronan HAICAULT de la REGONTAIS joined AMARANTE International as Deputy Director in charge of Operational Coordination.
