Naeem joined Amarante in January 2024 as Head of Department for Operations Support after having lived and worked in Afghanistan, India, Germany, Lebanon, Tunisia and East Africa.

As former Director of Partnerships at Samuel Hall, a research center in complex environments. He oversaw business development, advocacy and coordination across the network and geographies, as well as managed the company's reorganization. Prior to joining Samuel Hall, Naeem worked for a media production company in Delhi and for the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin. He has also been involved in field research projects on political transition in South Sudan and piracy in the Horn of Africa and worked in communications at the Carnegie Middle East Center in Beirut.

With a BA in War Studies from King's College London and an MSc in International Public Policy from UCL, Naeem is fluent in French, English and Italian, and has notions of Spanish, Dari, Arabic and Urdu. He has also completed certifying courses at Cornell University (leadership) and Stanford University (change management).
