In order to better face the new challenges in the field of security, Amarante's team integrates skills and expertise from both the military field (former executives of elite units of the French Armed Forces) and civilians (specialised engineers, graduates of elite higher education institutions).
Gauthier Convent joined Amarante Institutions Internationales in 2016. Currently he holds the position of Executive Director of Amarante Institutions Internationales, and is responsible for the development of our firm in the institutional field.
After working with public and private organisations (such as the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the European Institute of International Law), Gauthier joined one of the leading providers of private security. He spent 3 years there as Project Manager focusing on the European market and managing and monitoring projects in high-risk countries (Iraq, Somalia, Libya). During this period, he was deployed for six months in Bamako to manage the launch of a new local subsidiary and to participate in the commercial development of the company in West Africa, particularly in Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger.
Graduated from Sciences-Po Brussels, Gauthier followed a program of Law and International Relations in Chile and holds a Master's degree in Security and Conflict Resolution from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
