In order to better face the new challenges in the field of security, Amarante's team integrates skills and expertise from both the military field (former executives of elite units of the French Armed Forces) and civilians (specialised engineers, graduates of elite higher education institutions).
In 2012, Didier Baledens created the subsidiary Amarante Vostok in Moscow, where he has lived since 2008, and has headed it ever since.
Didier began his career in the mobile gendarmerie, then in the departmental Gendarmerie. He then served in Equatorial Guinea as Technical Advisor to the Equatoguinean Gendarmerie, in Bosnia and Herzegovina as Adviser of the EU Police Mission to the Minister of the Interior in Sarajevo, and finally to the French Embassy in Russia as an attaché for the Gendarmerie.
Didier graduated from the Ecole Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr, holds a certificate from the Ecole de Guerre (2005-2006) and a BA in Economics (1987) and History (1989). Didier speaks French, Russian, English and Spanish fluently.
