In order to better face the new challenges in the field of security, Amarante's team integrates skills and expertise from both the military field (former executives of elite units of the French Armed Forces) and civilians (specialised engineers, graduates of elite higher education institutions).
After advising the CEO of Amarante since 2017 for the Group's entry into the institutional markets, Didier Ranchon took over the management of Amarante International Institutions in 2019 as Vice-President Institutional Affairs.
A graduate of the Superior School of National Police Officers (ESIPN), Didier also owns a Master from the Center for Diplomatic and Strategic Studies (CEDS) specialized in the security of travelers and expatriates, Didier worked for almost 20 years within operational units (Fight against Narcotic Drugs, Fight against Organized Banditry) and International Cooperation (SCTIP, EUROPOL) of the Ministry of the Interior.
He then joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he exercised important responsibilities within the Crisis Cell (future CDSC), intervening in particular on the evacuations of RCA, RCI, and Lebanon, on the treatment of the Tsunami in South East Asia, Hurricane Katrina in the USA, the H5N1 and SARS pandemics, as well as numerous political crises and natural and industrial disasters around the world.
Didier then developed the service offer to the European Institutions of an important French private security group which became the main specialized supplier in Brussels. He also worked on behalf of one of the world leaders in the sector (Anglo Saxon) as General Manager for Europe.
As a security expert, Didier regularly works with French and foreign universities, and is a referent for the World Tourism Organization (WTO) in the field of security and crisis management.
