Communication in a security crisis
This training course is designed for directors and their advisors who are responsible for developing a crisis communication strategy.
Security faced by businesses (kidnapping, attacks…) are covered by the media, often in a fragmented and sometimes distorted fashion.
Such media exposure can have serious consequences, on both the conditions for resolving the crisis and the image of the company involved.
Because they are anxious to control all of the information and analyses published at the time, directors confronted with such risks try to construct a coherent and well-structured communication strategy.
Training Objective
The aim of this training course is to provide directors and their advisors with the understanding they require to manage crisis communications.
However, it is not the aim of the course to address the tools and media used by communication technicians.
This course will help directors to make a strategic choice between different options (silence, confirmation, denial) proposed to them by their advisors.
